For as long as I have blogged I have used categories in different ways, but mostly to, well, categorize. On the other hand, I enjoy hats. I wear them. I like looking at them on other people. I even like to conceptualize an idea or thought using a hat metaphor.
Cat’s and dogs with hats are cute, but most are humiliated and pissed off when wearing one.
Anyway, these are my categories for this blog and what they represent.
- Fedora: Trench coat optional. The serious stuff.
- Beret: Creative detours and things that caught my eye.
- Bucket Hat: No agenda. Just wandering.
- Cat in the Hat: Those moments of escaping walled gardens.
- Top Hat: Feeling a bit fancy today.
- Tinfoil Hat: Hunches, theories and things that seem off.
- Thinking Cap: Chewing on an idea out loud.
- Party Hat: Good news worth celebrating.
- Hard Hat: Work, business and the stuff that pays the bills.
- Hat in Hand: Confessions, apologies and lessons learned.
- Nightcap: Late, quiet and a little reflective.
